Two-Day Textile Sourcing Meet from September 16: Apparel Exporters and Manufacturers to Participate
Jaipur | The two-day Textile Sourcing Meet, to be held on September 16–17 at the Rajasthan International Centre, will be inaugurated by Minister of State for Industry, Mr. K.K. Vishnoi.
The event is being jointly organized by the Garment Exporters Association of Rajasthan (GEAR) and Sowtex Network.
Key participants will include Mr. Zakir Hussain (President, GEAR), Mr. Sonil Jain (CEO, Sowtex Network), and Mr. Dashmeet Singh (Value Officer, Sowtex), along with several apparel manufacturers and exporters.
GEAR President Mr. Zakir Hussain shared that the theme of this year’s meet is “Supplier at Your Doorstep,” symbolizing a one-stop platform for apparel manufacturers to access everything they need — saving both time and cost in the sourcing process.
Sowtex CEO Mr. Sonil Jain mentioned that this is the 5th edition of the show in Jaipur. The event will feature leading textile and garment sourcing companies from across India and abroad, showcasing the latest in machines, equipment, technology, fabrics, and yarns.
So far, over 400 participants have registered for the show.
The meet will also host discussions on industry growth and challenges, along with an awareness session on the upcoming Digital Product Passport (DPP) regulations set to be implemented in the European market by 2030 — helping exporters prepare for future global compliance.
